The Underground Railroad
After watching a short video about Harriet Tubman, using a website to complete a journey through the Underground Railroad, and participating in a class discussion on what it was like to live in the South during the years leading up to the Civil War, the students will be able to write a Blog, containing at least five historically correct facts, while role-playing a 10-year-old slave in the South in the 1850’s. This will be assessed by an instructor created rubric.
